Meet Our Director
Hello! My name is Kameshia Cochran, and I have more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education. Originally from Smoaks, South Carolina, I began my career in 2013 with Five Star, where I advanced from classroom teacher to curriculum coordinator. I also serve as a LITTLE Grant Coach with DECAL, supporting early language development within Five Star. As a proud mother of two boys, I am passionate about creating engaging, growth-centered environments for both children and educators.
My favorite part of working with children is watching their growth, from learning new words to mastering skills they have been practicing. At the center, I am excited to bring my passion for hands-on learning experiences that help every child feel valued and capable. I enjoy integrating creative activities into the curriculum to support both academic and social development, and I believe every day is an opportunity to inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners.
